Description

The PLUG1212 is a large-format uncooled thermal imaging camera module designed for high-performance thermal imaging applications. It is part of the PLUG series from Global Sensor Technology (GST), a manufacturer of cooled and uncooled infrared detectors and OEM thermal camera cores.

Made up of a high-definition 1280×1024/12µm uncooled thermal imaging sensor, a full range of optical components, signal processing circuitry and proprietary image processing algorithms, the PLUG1212 infrared camera core produces thermal images of up to 1280×1024 pixels that reveal even the smallest details. Its smaller 12µm pixel pitch improves spatial resolution and allows a shorter-focal-length lens to achieve the same range.

Using advanced vanadium oxide (VOx) technology, the PLUG1212 uncooled LWIR camera core maintains excellent environmental adaptability in complex and harsh weather. It produces ultra-clear images with low noise, high sensitivity, edge sharpening and enhanced detail in any challenging environment. Its visual information covers day, night, low-visibility and all-weather conditions, so it is used widely across many industries for customized observation and temperature measurement.
