When the probe is folded out, the device switches on automatically. The measuring electronics of the rod thermometer are well protected in an ABS housing, the protection class of the rod thermometer is IP54.
The display of the rod thermometer rotates depending on how the device is orientated, so the measured values of the rod thermometer can be read comfortably depending on the orientation. When the thermometer is not in use, the device switches off after 90 seconds.
